Greetings! I am Pastor Fred. I am thankful to be the pastor here at FUMC Brownsville. My wife Maricruz and I moved here in the summer of 2026, and we are glad to be returning to the Rio Grande Valley. My wife and I are both native to the Rio Grande Valley.
We are humbled to be called by God to do kingdom work, and we strive to wholeheartedly serve and glorify God in all we do.  I have a passion to minister to the church, but I also have a passion for the least, the last, and the lost, and believe that the church’s most important mission is beyond the four walls of the church.
We look forward to serve alongside God’s people here at First UMC Brownsville and see what amazing things He can do when we serve and work together for his honor and glory, and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
