How long does worship last?

Worship typically lasts about one hour.  The length of worship varies depending upon special activities, such as baptisms and new members joining the church.  The length of the sermon and whether or not we are having communion also affect the length of the worship service.

What should I wear to worship?

Feel free to wear whatever clothes will make you feel most comfortable.  You may "dress up" or wear casual clothes.  We care more that you are here than what you wear.

What are your services like?

Our services provide an opportunity to worship God through music, liturgy and teaching.  Each service ends with an opportunity for people to speak with the pastor about making a spiritual commitment and beginning a closer walk with God.

Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month.  In the United Methodist Church, the communion table is open to all who are seeking a closer relationship with God.  You do not need to be a member of our church, nor do you need to be a United Methodist in order to receive communion.

What about my children?

Children of all ages are welcome to worship with their families, and there is a Time for Young Disciples as part of each worship service.  We do provide a nursery for children ages birth through 6.  Our nursery workers are paid staff persons.
